We’re much more tried than we were last year
So young and naive then
Before we started, our dreams were lovely
And we weren’t scared of death
We weren’t scared at all
We hadn’t thought we’d lose our memories
If we got lost inside
I think my life is disappearing now
I think my life is disappearing
I can’t find where I want to be
Stay calm
We’ll deal with this once a day
We’ll see what comes of it
Remain calm
Somebody is on their way
They’ll help you see it straight
We’ll take the drugs in our leaves of absence
If you start to waiver, we’ll leave without you
They need a heart
I relapse on memory
I got numb again
I feel the scar, but I need the money
I think I’m lost again
I think my life is disappearing now
I think my life is disappearing
Got to keep the evil in
Driving for ages on terrible, heavenly graces
I think my life is disappearing
Got to keep the evil in
Stay calm
We’ll deal with this once a day
We’ll see what comes of it
Remain calm
Somebody is on their way
They’ll help you see it straight
We’ll take the drugs in our leaves of absence
If you start to waiver, we’ll leave without you

Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long.
